What sizes of snaps do you carry?

We offer two primary snap sizes:

  • Petite Snaps: These are designed exclusively for our Petite Collection base pieces (12 mm). They are not compatible with our standard-sized bases (18-20 mm).

  • Classic Snaps: All of our Classic Snaps are designed to fit standard 18–20 mm snap bases, which are used across our entire collection of base jewelry—including necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings, and accessories. While we refer to them as 18–20 mm for compatibility, the visible top portion of the snap can vary in size depending on the design. Some snaps may appear as small as 9mm or as large as 30mm+, giving you a wide range of looks while still fitting the same base.

 

What materials are your snaps made from?

Our snaps are made from a wide variety of materials to suit every style. These include metal alloys, rhinestones, resin, glass, natural stone, beads, and more. While the base of each snap is typically made from a metal alloy, the decorative tops vary in size and thickness depending on the design. All of our snaps are lead-free and selected with both quality and comfort in mind.

How do you care for and clean your snaps and accessories?

Our snaps and jewelry are rhodium and/or silver-plated. Like all plated jewelry, some tarnishing may naturally occur over time. To maintain their shine:

  • Clean only with a dry polishing cloth.

  • Do not use liquid jewelry cleaners, as they can strip the plating and cause permanent damage.

  • Limit exposure to water, including bathing, handwashing, and swimming.

  • Avoid wearing snaps in pools, lakes, or hot tubs.

How do you change out snaps?

Changing snaps is quick and easy:

  • Simply pop off the snap from the base using your fingers, or use our pick tool for easier removal.

  • Insert the tip of the pick between the snap and the base, twist gently, and remove.

  • Swap in a new snap to complement your outfit or mood!

Do you have a catalogue?

Are your products recommended for children?

Snap Jewelry is not recommended for young children due to small parts that may pose a choking hazard. For safety:

  • Always supervise children when they are wearing snap jewelry.

  • Keep out of reach of children under the age of three.

  • Remove snap jewelry before sleeping.

  • Do not allow children to place jewelry in their mouths.

  • Dispose immediately of any broken or damaged snap pieces.
